The Story of My research
The Emergence of fascist movement:
When we were students in the 1 st . University educational stage, we studied
History by the 70s of 20 th . Century, we used to read every available books and
dedicate more time to study History books; our major subject.
Since then, we kept hearing thoughts and movements; political and military,
which resulted or resulting a radical change in nationals life or states. The notable
movement which came to pass in the twentieth century was the fascist movement in
Italy.
In fact the fascist movement did not lay its negative influence on Italian
people only, but it was extended to impact the international relations of Italy and
behavior thereof with other states and nations. These negative trends were our core
points during many years of time.
Following 17 years since obtaining the Bachelor degree, I was engaged in
work where I acquired more expertise, I decided to return to the study seats again and
join the post education study; M.S and PhD degrees.
I remember that once we studied Europe modern and contemporary History
subject, I studied Fascism movements and wrote out many reports thereon. During my
study of modern theories in History there was an Italian official person and
philosopher Benedetto Croce, (1866-1952) whose career attracted my attention, as he
witnessed Mussolini and Fascism, filled the office of Minister in the Italian then state.
He used to oppose the fascism regime, which subjected his house to be stolen. He
returned to fill the Minister office after the fall of Fascism regime, an established the
historical contemporaneous and awareness theory.
I used to wrote about his life and career, I read his theory on Historical
contemporaneous which simply means "We study and write history through
experiencing the spirit of era, and further our need to solve contemporary cause.
Therefore, The History which we write is current history as we can recover history
and awareness & understanding through contemporary cause.
Following attaining my PhD degree, I composed a research, in Arabic
Language, discussing Croce career. The respective research received approbation
from my scholars, fellows and my students as well. My view on Contemporary
history has been developed through another topic related thereto; i.e. The Historical
perspective of incidents and development thereof.
In the 21 st . century I witnessed current political movements for Fascism or new
Fascisms which worried me much as a history learner. So I worked to draft this
research and kept in mind to keep reminding myself the following question: Did I
introduce a research on Fascism Movement in Italy via contemporary historical
perspective and clear image that may enrich the historical awareness, understanding
and avoiding emergence of new Fascism that may negatively affect our lives in our
era?
Replying such question is my main concern included herein, and lastly the
reader is the only one who may assess the generated benefit from this research.
